Classes Information A breakdown of what we can offer you.
I teach classes in ballet, tap and jazz/modern (to chart/pop music). We follow the accredited BBO syllabus, which is recognised by the QCA/Ofqual examinations board. We teach the BBO syllabus and free work, every year holding BBO exams and assessments at the studio for those pupils who wish to take exams and gain accredited qualifications. To date we have had a 100% pass rate in all exams.
Children can start ballet and tap dance classes at 3 years upwards and can start jazz and modern at 5 years or upwards. The jazz/modern (to chart/pop music) are one class. Class sizes are kept reasonably small enabling every pupil to get the best out of their class. Special introductory offers consist of a 3 week taster course for a new starter, which enables children and parents to get an idea of what the class is about and whether or not you like it. Currently we are offering a pay 2 classes and get a 3rd free. Aims

Children taking exams in higher grades are now eligible to use exam results towards UCAS points.
Tap - Tap dancing is great fun, energetic and a great way to keep fit. Children can start tap at the age of 3 years which teaches pupils listening skills and helps to develop musicality through exploring rhythms and tempos as well as presentation and self confidence. We follow the BBO syllabus which teaches pupils to dance to a variety of rhythms and in many different styles. Exams may be taken in tap with the BBO. Children taking exams in higher grades are now eligible to use exam results towards UCAS points. Jazz/Modern - This is a fun and energetic class, which incorporates a range of free work and the BBO syllabus.
